Job summary

Terracon in Utah is seeking an engineer to provide engineering and consulting services across public works, transportation, commercial, and industrial projects. You will perform and/or lead field investigations, analyze data, prepare plans, specifications, and related reports, and ensure compliance with drawings and standards.

You will develop proposals, track progress and budgets, communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical clients, and support other team members under

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Engineering Intern (EIT) preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Understand and practice quality acumen.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates; track progress and budgets.
• Review drawings for compliance with plans and specifications and communicate findings.
• Draft plans using CAD software.
• Assist in data collection and field and laboratory testing; prepare reports.
• Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
