Job summary

Kleinfelder's Houston, Texas office is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join the team. The role involves field sampling, testing, data collection, and reports to support geotechnical projects across Texas and beyond.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering or Geology degree, are eligible for EIT/GIT within 6 months, and possess 0–3 years of geotechnical field experience, plus a valid TX driver's license. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology required.
• EIT or GIT or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil and groundwater sampling, logging, observations, and testing on materials testing projects to verify conformance to plans and specs.
• Submit daily field and data reports.
• Geotechnical laboratory testing experience is a plus.
• Perform engineering calculations under supervision of a PE.
• Travel as required by project needs.
