General Responsibilities

Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients, including performing and leading field investigations, analysis, design, inspection, report writing, and ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals, track project progress, and resolve design and construction issues. Communicate complex engineering concepts effectively to clients and teams across sectors like public works, transportation, commercial, energy, and industrial.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, participate in pre-task planning, and report safety concerns.
• Support quality standards in proposals and project delivery.
• Assist in research, data collection, testing, and report preparation.
• Evaluate laboratory and field data for reports.
• Collaborate with technical staff and supervisors.
• Perform basic calculations and engineering analyses.
• Draft proposals and assist with CAD plan drafting.
• Work with testing crews and prepare activity reports.
• Operate under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Preferred Certification

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) designation.
