Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a Vice President to lead the Geotechnical Division in Kansas. The role oversees client service, technical staff management, strategic planning and project execution for the Division.

The position requires a strong track record in design/construction, staff leadership, and collaboration across engineering disciplines, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in design and construction industries.
• Experience managing staff or teams preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse engineering disciplines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff within the Geotechnical Division.
• Deliver PEC’s purpose and vision to clients and staff.
• Uphold the Division’s technical reputation.
• Promote Division services to clients and prospects.
• Provide workload management for team members.
• Oversee Division efficiency and workproduct quality.
• Manage project risks related to technical work.
• Develop and enforce Division business practices and QA procedures.
• Control Division costs within budgets.
• Set Division standards and ensure project delivery within those standards.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve company goals.
