CDM Smith is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join our Infrastructure Services team in Chelmsford, MA. You will collaborate with a dynamic team on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, contributing to subsurface investigations and data collection.

You will assist with calculations, analyses, preparing reports, and developing plans and specifications, while supporting office needs on geotechnical assignments. Travel is 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subsurface investigations and oversight during construction of subsurface work.
• Assist senior engineers in performing calculations, analyses, and preparing reports.
• Assist with office needs on a variety of Geotechnical projects; help prepare plans and specifications.
