Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Intern in Bozeman, MT to support field and laboratory work, data collection, and basic engineering analyses over a 10–12 week period.

You will gain hands-on experience while collaborating with experienced engineers, designers, and technicians on real projects. Responsibilities include assisting with testing, documenting results, developing routine reports, and supporting design reviews.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Prior internship experience in building design is a plus.
• Strong interest in geotechnical engineering and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field and laboratory testing under supervision.
• Document field and laboratory testing results.
• Assist with engineering analysis, design, and field inspections.
• Assist with the development of routine reports.
• Document design decisions and client communications promptly.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
