IMEG Corp in Missoula, MT is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for a Summer 2027 program. The internship runs 10–12 weeks with full-time in-office work, focusing on design, field inspections, documentation, and client coordination to support resilient infrastructure.

You will learn under a mentor, contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, and gain hands-on experience in budgeting, permitting, and project delivery within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• Field duties such as surveying and materials testing may be required.
• Strong interest in design consulting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CAD, and BIM.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior internship in building design consulting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with design portions of civil projects per code and IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment and project resources.
• Support client relations, maintain project design notebook, and document permanent records.
• Coordinate design and schedule needs with other disciplines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
• Help prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic site observations and field services as required.
