Your Role: Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced

As a Geotechnical Team Leader in Atlanta, Georgia you will play a pivotal role in overseeing geotechnical projects, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise, conducting risk assessments, and fostering strong client relationships. With a focus on leadership, you will manage team resources efficiently, contribute to business development activities, and drive continuous training and development initiatives.


What You'll Do:

  • Manage professionals to complete geotechnical projects.
  • Lead in project management, business development, and various operational areas.
  • Develop proposals and reports or delegate within the group.
  • Efficiently utilize staff on projects for profitability goals.
  • Engage in cross-selling services, participate in Business Development, and build local client relationships.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years' experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
  • A Professional Engineer license in Georgia or be able to obtain a Georgia PE by reciprocity
  • Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing staff, or the desire to learn
  • Experience and desire for business development activities

What to Expect:

  • With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
  • Walking over rough terrain and standing for long periods (up to 12 hours)
  • Lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment
  • Safely handling field tools and maneuvering equipment on active construction sites
