Job summary

Ausenco is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing US team, working on geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting for tailings storage facilities and related mine infrastructure. The role involves preparing technical reports, coordinating design drawings, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver projects.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of experience, a PE is advantageous, and a Master’s degree is preferred. Travel to client sites in the USA and internationally is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct geotechnical analysis, design, and reporting for tailings storage facilities and mine infrastructure.
  • Participate in site investigation/laboratory programs and results interpretation.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation.
  • Manage design drawings and specifications from scoping to detailed design and construction.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely project execution.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites in the USA and internationally.
