As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer in our Pittsburgh office, you will collaborate with geotechnical and materials testing teams on various projects for public and private clients. Responsibilities may include test boring/test pit observations, laboratory analysis, geotechnical report preparation, managing field staff, reviewing daily reports, and performing on-site construction materials testing.

Qualified candidates will have:

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis on geotechnical
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Pre-employment requirements completed
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel overnight occasionally
• Ability to move up to 60-80 pounds
• Familiarity with engineering and construction plans
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical industry experience
• EIT certification (PE preferred)
• Familiarity with geotechnical software such as GeoSystems, Gint, L-Pile, MSEW
