Relocation aid is available for qualified candidates. Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with a PE license, 5+ years in geotech, and strong writing and PM skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Active PE license with Arkansas reciprocity or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong writing and project management skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from proposal to completion.
• Review and seal reports, calculations, and recommendations.
• Analyze foundations, settlement, bearing capacity, slope stability, retaining walls, pavements, and earthwork.
• Oversee field investigations, lab testing, and materials testing.
• Mentor staff engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Direct client, contractor, architect, and stakeholder interactions.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Support business development through client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety.

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm to identify experienced GeotechnicalEngineers (PEs) for several newly created positions due to continued growth. Opportunities are available in both Little Rock, AR and Fayetteville, AR.

Approximately 90% of the work is focused on geotechnical engineering, offering the chance to work on challenging and diverse projects while supporting junior engineers and helping shape the firm's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through completion.
• Review and seal geotechnical reports, engineering calculations, and construction recommendations.
• Perform engineering analyses related to foundations, settlement, bearing capacity, slope stability, retaining walls, pavements, and earthwork.
• Provide technical oversight of field investigations, laboratory testing, and construction materials testing activities.
• Review the work of staff engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Work directly with clients, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, project budgets, and cost estimates while managing project schedules.
• Support business development through client relationships and networking.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Arkansas or ability to obtain Arkansas reciprocity)
• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
• Strong technical writing and project management skills
• Valid driver's license
