Job summary

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm to identify experienced Geotechnical Engineers (PEs) for roles in Little Rock, AR and Fayetteville, AR. You will lead geotechnical projects, seal reports, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients and project teams.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license (Arkansas or reciprocity), 5+ years geotechnical experience, strong technical writing and project management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Active PE license (Arkansas or reciprocity).
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong technical writing and project management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through completion.
  • Review and seal geotechnical reports, engineering calculations, and construction recommendations.
  • Perform analyses related to foundations, settlement, bearing capacity, slope stability, retaining walls, pavements, and earthwork.
  • Provide technical oversight of field investigations, laboratory testing, and construction materials testing activities.
  • Review work of staff engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Work directly with clients, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare proposals, project budgets, and cost estimates while managing project schedules.
  • Support business development through client relationships and networking.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm to identify experienced GeotechnicalEngineers (PEs) for several newly created positions due to continued growth. Opportunities are available in both Little Rock, AR and Fayetteville, AR.

Approximately 90% of the work is focused on geotechnical engineering, offering the chance to work on challenging and diverse projects while supporting junior engineers and helping shape the firm's continued growth.
