The role collaborates with estimating, operations, project teams, and laboratories, translating soil behavior into actionable guidance for bid development and field execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of geotechnical experience in dredging or marine projects.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and reviewing field investigations.
• Ability to interpret soil data and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate subsurface geology and soil data to define ground conditions.
• Prepare geotechnical summaries and risk assessments for bid and execution teams.
• Plan and supervise marine geotechnical investigations with contractors and labs.
• Develop geotechnical reports and visual aids for stakeholders.
• Support data management and integration into geotechnical information platforms.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and management to apply findings.
