Job summary

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock invites Civil, Ocean, Environmental, Geotechnical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management majors to join the Fall internship in Atlantic Beach, FL. You will support dredging operations, land surveying, dredge production monitoring, and on-site reporting while living on site and receiving a $52 per day meal allowance.

The internship runs Dec through Jan with airfare to HQ for onboarding, transportation to project sites, and housing provided.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate majors in Civil/Ocean/Environmental/Geotechnical/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Interns assist in surveying, dredge production monitoring and daily reporting.
• Commitment to safety and on-site teamwork throughout the internship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment during all operations and tasks.
• Land and hydrographic surveying for construction management purposes.
• Dredge production monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
• Daily dredge and quality control reporting.
• General support of operations and team members.
