Job summary

Jobot is seeking an EIT/PE with geotechnical experience to lead projects from field investigation through engineering analysis and reporting. You will interact directly with clients and project teams while delivering geotechnical recommendations for foundations and site development.

The role emphasizes ownership of analyses, coordination with drilling contractors, and collaboration with civil, structural, environmental disciplines in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience in geotechnical investigations and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support geotechnical investigations and subsurface explorations.
• Coordinate and interpret soil borings, laboratory testing, and field data.
• Perform geotechnical calculations and engineering analyses.
• Develop recommendations for foundations, earthwork, retaining structures, and site development.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Review plans and project documents for geotechnical considerations.
• Coordinate with drilling contractors, laboratories, surveyors, and other consultants.
• Support construction observation, testing, and field investigations.
• Work with civil, structural, environmental, and other engineering disciplines.
• For senior-level candidates, provide technical leadership and communicate directly with clients and project stakeholders.
