Atlas is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer (EIT) to join our Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) team in Texas. You will gain hands-on experience in geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and field observations while working toward PE licensure under senior staff mentorship.

You will support field exploration, testing, data analysis, and report preparation for public and private projects, including highway, municipal, utilities, and commercial developments.

Formación

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical emphasis preferred).
• 1–3 years of geotechnical and/or CMT experience.
• EIT certification required (or FE completed and pursuing).
• Knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO/TxDOT testing standards.
• Familiarity with soil/rock classification and geotechnical principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; geotechnical software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50–75%.
• Ability to obtain missing certifications within 6 months.
• SiteManager/Metafield familiarity a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist geotechnical field investigations planning and execution.
• Perform materials testing and QA/QC for soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate.
• Coordinate with drilling crews to maintain schedules and quality.
• Log and classify soil and rock samples per ASTM/AASHTO.
• Oversee lab testing and conduct advanced geotechnical tests.
• Analyze data to support engineering recommendations.
• Prepare geotechnical data and reports under a licensed PE.
