Job summary

GeoTek, a full-service engineering consultancy, seeks a Staff Professional in Civil Engineering for its Las Vegas, NV office. You will support senior engineers on geotechnical, environmental, and materials testing projects, with exposure to proposals, calculations, and client communications.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or higher in civil/geotechnical/environmental engineering, are an EIT and FE exam holder, and own a vehicle for site work.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS or higher in civil, geotechnical, or environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) with FE Exam.
• Must have a vehicle and be willing to use it for work (monthly reimbursement).

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with technical, operational, managerial, and administrative tasks.
• Perform laboratory/field testing of construction materials per quality system requirements.
• Support proposal execution, technical calculations, and submittals to ensure quality of work.
• Maintain client interactions and timely communication of scope changes.
• Update and manage project data, timelines, budgets, and contracts.
