Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong geotechnical background to support plans, analyses, and site work in Georgia. You will collaborate with senior engineers, assist with AutoCAD/Civil 3D design, and help with permit and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of geotechnical engineering or related experience
• Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 3–5 years of GDOT project experience
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers
• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
• Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies
• Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines
• Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks
