GFT is seeking an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer in Mechanicsburg, PA to join our geotechnical team. The role follows a hybrid work model with at least 3 days in the office, and December 2026/Spring 2027 graduates are encouraged to apply.

The position involves planning subsurface explorations, geotechnical analyses for transportation and infrastructure projects, and travel to client sites as needed. A ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree and 0–3 years of geotechnical experience are

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, organizational and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent field observation and data collection skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and oversee subsurface explorations.
• Perform geotechnical calculations and designs (foundations, slopes, seepage).
• Prepare reports, drawings and specifications.
• Plan subsurface explorations and lab testing.
• Travel to other offices/sites as needed.
