Langan is seeking an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join its Phoenix, AZ team. The role involves planning and conducting field investigations, monitoring foundations and earthwork, and preparing geotechnical logs and reports for large-scale projects.

The position emphasizes field work, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving, with opportunities for growth and professional license support.

Competenze

• Bachelors in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Masters with Geotechnical specialty preferred or pursuit intent.
• 0-2 years of work experience preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• EIT or FE exam registration preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Willing to spend most work hours in the field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Travel may be required depending on assignments.

Mansioni

• Plan and execute field investigations, log borings and pits, collect samples.
• Observe foundation and earthwork construction activities and ensure conformance.
• Identify and implement field/lab solutions to problems.
• Prepare logs, field forms, and chain-of-custody records.
• Conduct file reviews, site reconnaissance, and document searches.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and document findings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
