This entry‑level role offers exposure to office and field work, client and team collaboration, and a path toward professional licensure.

You will develop technical plans, reports, cost estimates, and construction documents while building your proficiency in geotechnical principles,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.
• Zero to two years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and basic software like MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client communication and attend meetings as needed.
• Use CAD tools to prepare engineering plans, reports, and construction documents.
• Visit project sites to monitor progress and collect information.
• Contribute to quality-control activities and ensure accuracy of work.
• Define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions under supervision.
• Read and interpret designs, regulations, and standards.
• Assist with specifications, permits, plans, reports, and cost estimates.
• Prepare design computations under supervision with increasing independence.
• Communicate with project managers regarding assignments, milestones, and budgets.
• Manage time to meet schedules and budgets.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Pursue Engineer-in-Training and licensure.
