Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to plan and lead field assignments, including soil borings, CPT soundings, and instrumentation, and to analyze logs and results for geotechnical design.

You will design shallow and deep foundations, perform seismic hazard assessments, and prepare calculations and clear technical reports. Travel 10–15% internationally/domestically; hybrid work model and global project exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialty and 2 years of related experience.
• Experience leading field geotechnical explorations and inspections.
• Ability to prepare and present technical memos, reports and design calculations.
