Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer in Milwaukee, WI to join a multidisciplinary team tackling foundations, slopes and retaining structures for transportation projects.

You will design and analyze shallow and deep foundations, inspect field activities, and oversee subsurface investigations and lab testing programs under senior guidance. The role offers mentorship and growth within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical design and analysis of foundation systems, retaining structures and slopes.
• Investigate subsurface conditions and oversee laboratory testing programs.
• Support inspection and construction-related activities for transportation projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under guidance of senior engineers.
• Progress from basic to more complex design tasks with mentorship.
