Job summary

Jobot is seeking a geotechnical professional in Kirkland, WA to support field investigations, report drafting, and lab testing for large residential, commercial, and public works projects. You will collaborate with our team, provide cost estimates, and engage with clients on project needs.

Requirements include a Civil or Geological Engineering degree and FE/EIT status; a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. Travel to sites and occasional lifting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering required.
• FE/EIT exam completed or scheduled.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field investigations (test pits, test borings, slope reconnaissance, hand augers).
• Draft geotechnical engineering reports.
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
• Perform lab testing and analyses for construction projects.
• Attend project meetings with clients.
• Travel to project sites, including remote areas, as needed.
