Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to conduct subsurface investigations, analyses, and design support for site development projects and related forensic work. The role involves field exploration, logging, data analysis, and coordination of laboratory testing, with opportunities to contribute to construction phase activities.

Ideal candidates have a civil/geotechnical background, 0–3 years experience, and an EIT or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Science, Geology or related engineering field; geotechnical engineering concentration preferred
• 0-3 years’ geotechnical consulting experience or related field; lab testing and field exploration experience beneficial
• EIT preferred or ability to obtain EIT certificate
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Perform field exploration programs for a wide range of project types
• Oversee engineering services during construction for foundations and earthwork
• Prepare field logs, data reports, and initial geotechnical engineering reports
• Coordinate laboratory testing based on field results
• Communicate results to project teams and clients
• Support QA/QC and regulatory considerations
