Job summary

HDR Geotechnical Engineer position focuses on practical application of geotechnical engineering throughout design and construction phases. You will review submittals, support field operations, and ensure QA documentation aligns with project standards.

The role requires 4+ years in geotechnical engineering, a PE/P.Eng license, and proficiency with geotechnical software and Bentley/GeoTools. Field travel is expected to support multiple project sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license required.
  • Experience with geotechnical design review and field support preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review geotechnical design submittals and provide constructability comments.
  • Provide field support and interpretation of plans, specs, and geotechnical requirements.
  • Coordinate geotechnical testing and review foundation logs and certification packages.
  • Support QA efforts, identify non-conformances, and assist in corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants, testing firms, and project stakeholders.
