CTL Engineering, a multi-location engineering firm, seeks a Geotechnical Engineer (EIT or PE) to perform explorations, site characterization, and reports for diverse projects near Shelbyville, KY. 60-90 mile radius travel typical, field-heavy role with potential vehicle support.

You will supervise lab staff, coordinate subsurface programs, and ensure QA/QC standards while working with cross-functional teams across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• 0-4+ years in consulting engineering on civil projects.
• ABET-accredited degree required; EIT/PE credentialing encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical explorations, site characterizations, and risk evaluation.
• Supervise lab technicians and manage QA/QC processes.
• Coordinate subsurface investigations and test borings with field teams.
• Review soil lab results and prepare technical reports.
