Job summary

ASR International Corporation seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest, applying geotechnical principles to foundations, retaining structures, and waterfront facilities.

The role involves reviewing reports and designs for compliance, coordinating with structural and civil teams, and preparing technical notes and documentation to support project progress. Requires strong communication and DoD-related experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible).
• Must pass a T1 security background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant design or design management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of geotechnical principles applicable to buildings and waterfront structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with structural, civil, and other discipline engineers.
• Prepare technical reports, observations, and recommendations.
• Support project status reporting and documentation.
