Job summary

gpac partnered with a nationally recognized A&E firm seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to lead design and mentoring on high-profile bridges, dams, levees, and buildings across the region.

The role blends technical leadership, project delivery, and strong client relationships, with remote or hybrid work flexibility and occasional travel. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering growth and challenging projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of geotechnical experience with expertise in dams, levees, and/or large bridge foundations.
• PE in the state of Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with ODOT projects desired
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
• Available for occasional short-term travel

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and analysis for bridges, buildings/ structures, dams and levees
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
