Job summary

CERTERRA is hiring a Geotechnical Driller Helper in Bridge City, TX to assist our drilling crew with soil sampling and subsurface exploration. Travel throughout Texas and parts of Louisiana is required, and the role is outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. CDL is a plus. On-the-job training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller with daily drilling operations.
• Support soil and rock sample collection and labeling.
• Maintain and clean drilling equipment and jobsite areas.
• Travel to local and out-of-town job sites and follow safety policies.
