ECS Group is seeking a Driller Helper in Franklin, Tennessee to support geotechnical drilling operations. The role involves assisting with setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment while ensuring safety and adherence to ECS Core Values.

You will work closely with the Driller to enable efficient subsurface investigations and quality field data collection. Responsibilities include locating boring positions, recording data, performing routine equipment maintenance, and timely field

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read maps, follow directions and interpret plans.
• Willingness to travel overnight for project work is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist drilling operations including borings and Geoprobe work.
• Locate boring positions using maps, plans, or GPS systems.
• Record drilling data accurately and promptly.
• Report issues to Project Manager or Supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on drill rigs and trucks and report needs.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Load drill rigs and vehicles with necessary supplies daily.
• Complete timesheets and field documentation promptly.
• Care for and clean equipment and tools after use.
• Maintain professional behavior and quality standards.
• Work out of town and on non-standard schedules as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
