Job summary

Stantec in Nashville, TN invites motivated students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering to join as an Intern/Co-op on water infrastructure projects. The role offers exposure to dams, levees, treatment facilities, and other water/wastewater structures while you contribute to real project work.

You will assist in planning geotechnical explorations, write reports, gather data, and support design activities using CAD and other design programs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (minimum).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to multi-task and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating geotechnical explorations.
• Assist in project administration including writing reports and tracking costs.
• Assist technical staff with data gathering, reporting, and design calculations.
