Job summary

Our client is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager (PE) to lead geotechnical projects in Newark, Delaware. You will direct transportation, marine and infrastructure assignments, mentor junior staff, and strengthen client partnerships while delivering technically excellent solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Professional Engineer license or can obtain it imminently, with 6+ years in geotechnical consulting, subsurface investigations, soil

Qualifications

• Senior geotechnical engineer with PE or ability to obtain
• 6+ years of geotechnical consulting experience
• Experience supporting transportation, marine, federal, or infrastructure projects
• Background with subsurface investigations, soil borings, remediation, testing, and inspection services
• Familiarity with DOT standards and public-sector project delivery processes

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical projects and teams across transportation, marine, and infrastructure sectors
• Mentor junior staff and develop internal technical capabilities
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development activities
• Ensure compliance with DOT standards and quality control throughout projects
