GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a Pursuit Engineer II – Geotech Construction in Tennessee. This development role supports pursuit strategy, proposals, and client engagement while you learn how GSI pursues work, wins business, and manages relationships.

You will collaborate with PDEs and engineering teams, gaining hands-on experience in geotechnical solutions and building client networks. This position requires a Bachelor’s in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, 4+ years in related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related Engineering field.
• P.E., P.G., E.I.T., or G.I.T. licensure preferred.
• 4+ years of engineering, construction, sales, or technical client-facing experience.
• Familiarity with construction practices and heavy equipment.
• Experience with proposals, sales, or customer-facing technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Support pursuit execution: assist PDEs in developing pursuit strategy and coordinating with estimating and engineering teams.
• Technical analysis and proposal support: research geotechnical challenges and contribute to client-facing materials.
• Client engagement: participate in meetings, site visits, and follow-ups to build relationships.
• Market research: identify opportunities in heavy civil and transportation sectors.
• Industry involvement: attend trade shows and association meetings to build network.
• Administrative tasks: manage timelines, track deliverables, and coordinate across teams.
