Job summary

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a Pursuit Engineer II - Geotech Construction based in California, with travel to regional sites. The role supports geotechnical pursuits, develops proposals, and builds client relationships across heavy civil and transportation markets.

You will learn pursuit management, deepen geotechnical knowledge, and progress toward owning accounts as you advance within the PDE track, with regional travel and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field
• P.E., P.G., E.I.T., or G.I.T. licensure preferred
• 4+ years of engineering, construction, sales, or technical client-facing experience
• CRM experience (Salesforce or equivalent) is a plus; B2W estimating software experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support pursuit execution: assist PDEs in developing pursuit strategy and coordinating with estimating and engineering teams
• Technical analysis and proposal support: research geotechnical challenges and contribute technical content to client materials
• Client engagement: participate in client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups to build relationships
• Market research and pipeline support: identify opportunities in heavy civil and transportation markets
• Industry involvement: attend trade shows and association meetings to build network
• Administrative and coordination work: manage pursuit timelines and ensure communication across teams
