Job summary

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a development-focused professional to support geotechnical pursuits alongside Project Development Engineers. You’ll contribute to proposals, perform technical analysis, and build client relationships to win work.

Over time you’ll gain pursuit management skills, develop geotechnical expertise, and aim to own accounts and pursue work independently as a PDE, with ~50% regional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• P.E., P.G., E.I.T., or G.I.T. licensure preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, construction, sales, or technical client-facing roles.
• Familiarity with construction practices and heavy equipment.
• Experience working on proposals, in sales, or in a customer-facing technical role.
• CRM experience (Salesforce or equivalent) is a plus; B2W estimating software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support pursuit execution: assist PDEs in developing pursuit strategy, coordinating with estimating and engineering teams, and building technically credible proposals.
• Technical analysis and proposal support: research geotechnical challenges, evaluate solutions, and contribute technical content to client-facing materials.
• Client engagement: participate in client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups. Build relationships and learn how different stakeholders make decisions.
• Market research and pipeline support: identify and qualify opportunities in the heavy civil and transportation space. Track market activity and competitive positioning.
• Industry involvement: attend trade shows, events, and association meetings. Begin building your network in the industry.
• Administrative and coordination work: manage pursuit timelines, track deliverables, and ensure smooth communication across internal teams.
