GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking a Pursuit Engineer II in geotechnical construction, based in California. You will work with project development engineers to support pursuits, develop proposals, and engage clients in heavy civil and transportation markets.
You will learn pursuit management, deepen geotechnical knowledge, and advance toward owning your own accounts as a PDE while traveling regionally with customers.

Pursuit Engineer II - Geotech Construction
Candidates must be based in California. Los Angeles Metro Area or Bay Area preferred.
Company-sponsored travel required: approximately 50% regionally, including customer site visits and industry engagement.
Targeted annual compensation range for this position in the United States is $90,000 - $155,000.
You will work alongside Project Development Engineers to support pursuits for geotechnical projects. This is a development role designed to teach you how GSI pursues work, wins business, and manages client relationships. You will contribute technical analysis, help shape proposals, and build relationships with key players in your market.
You will learn pursuit management, develop technical acumen in geotechnical solutions, and gain hands‑on experience in heavy civil and transportation markets. Over time, you will progress toward owning your own accounts and pursuing work independently as a PDE.
