Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Geotech Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic geotechnical team on transmission, renewable energy, data center, and power-related projects.

You will manage investigations, design, and reporting and mentor junior staff to grow professionally. You will guide proposals, budgets, schedules, and client communications while helping recruit and develop talent across the geotechnical group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering from an ABET accredited college. Master’s degree a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 6 years of related work experience in geotechnical projects.
• Experience leading investigations, reporting, and design for power-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical projects and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and client communications.
• Manage field and laboratory testing coordination and report preparation.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and invoices.
