Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience as an engineering consultant/designer in geostructural/geotechnical fields.
• Promotion path to Associate Principal/Principal within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced project management, technical consulting, and business development skills.
• Expert knowledge of geostructural systems (ground improvement, retaining walls, SOE, underpinning, dewatering, deep foundations).
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Understanding of consulting operations, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic business plans for geostructural service line.
• Drives growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Builds and maintains relationships with contractors, clients, and industry partners.
• Leads and develops a team of engineers and technical professionals.
• Oversees project delivery, including design, calculations, and reporting.
• Reviews and approves project deliverables such as plans and specifications.
• Evaluates contractor submittals and testing documentation.
• Ensures high-quality technical execution across projects.
• Manages staffing, workload distribution, and team performance.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures QMS compliance.
• Supports geotechnical project work during service line development.
• Prepares and reviews proposals, budgets, and project financials.
