The role requires a decade of geostructural or geotechnical consulting experience, strong leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience as an engineering consultant/designer in geostructural or geotechnical fields.
• Eligible for ECS Associate Principal or Principal within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Advanced project management, technical consulting, and business development skills.
• Expert knowledge of geostructural systems: ground improvement, retaining walls, SOE, underpinning, dewatering, deep foundations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic business plans for the geostructural service line.
• Drives growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Builds and maintains relationships with contractors, clients, and partners.
• Leads and develops a team of engineers and technical professionals.
• Oversees project delivery, including technical design, calculations, and reporting.
• Reviews and approves project deliverables: plans, specs, analyses.
• Evaluates contractor submittals and testing documentation.
• Ensures high-quality technical execution across projects.
• Manages staffing, workload, and team performance.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures QMS compliance.
• Prepares and reviews proposals, budgets, and project financials.
