Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer within the Chinook Program. The role emphasizes automated and manual testing, CI/CD integration, and continuous quality improvements in an Agile DevSecOps environment.

The position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and US citizenship, with 4–8 years of relevant experience (or 2–6 years with a Master’s). Multiple U.S. locations are possible, with Gaithersburg, MD as primary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience.
• 6+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
• Experience supporting Agile software development programs.
• Demonstrated experience creating and executing manual and automated test plans.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across multiple Agile sprints.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities.
• Collaborate daily with software engineers, product managers, system engineers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate application performance, reliability, security, and usability.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployment workflows.
• Analyze test results, communicate risks, and provide recommendations to improve software quality.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance Agile team effectiveness.
