Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geography, GIS, Surveying Technology, Remote Sensing, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of professional geospatial, surveying, GIS, remote sensing, or LiDAR experience.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification is required.
• Experience with LiDAR data acquisition and point cloud processing.
• Experience with UAV-collected imagery and geospatial datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and data quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform UAV mission planning and field operations in compliance with FAA regulations.
• Acquire aerial imagery and LiDAR data using unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
• Process and classify LiDAR point clouds using industry-standard software.
• Generate DTMs, DSMs, contours, Orthomosaics, and other geospatial products.
• Assist with georeferencing, QA/QC, and accuracy assessment of datasets.
• Support survey and mapping projects through data processing and analysis.
• Prepare mapping exhibits, figures, and technical deliverables.
• Maintain organized project files and metadata.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, GIS professionals, and project managers.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of geospatial data.
• Assist with field survey operations as required.
