Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Survey Technician in Raleigh, NC to support data processing of field survey projects, deed research, boundary computations, and plat drafting.

Requirements include geomatics and surveying knowledge, proficiency with survey computations, and experience with Carlson Survey and Open Roads Designer. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; TN visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geomatics, surveying, and reality capture.
• Experience with survey computations and field data.
• Familiarity with Carlson Survey and Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD, MicroStation, StarNET, or Trimble Business Center.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license; able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Complete data processing for field survey projects and related tasks.
• Perform deed research, boundary computations, and plat drafting.
• QA/QC and office computations for task completion.
• Develop topographic base mapping from field data and LiDAR where applicable.
