Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in the United States seeks a Quality Analyst to support its Geospatial Technology Services department. You will perform detailed QA/QC of lidar, topographic data, imagery, and other GIS products across federal, state, and private clients, ensuring accuracy and deliverable readiness.

Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to data standards, process improvements, and technical writing while mentoring junior staff and communicating with clients during project reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
• 5+ years GIS/Remote Sensing experience.
• Proficient with Esri ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience QA/QC of geospatial data.
• Familiarity with TerraScan and other GIS tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC of elevation data, imagery, GIS data and products.
• Provide feedback on all production stages.
• Lead quality review meetings and assist with prioritizing tasks.
• Prepare training for junior staff and develop SOPs.
• Coordinate with project managers on scope, budget, and resources.
• Represent QA in client meetings and translate expectations to analysts.
