Job summary

Quevera in Herndon, VA seeks a Geospatial Quality Assurance Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance. The role focuses on testing a cloud-based geospatial data lake, including ingestion pipelines, APIs, and GIS client integrations for government customers.

You will lead test strategies, perform UAT, verify data quality, and maintain documentation while coordinating with cloud development teams and stakeholders to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, GIS, Geography, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, and traceability matrices for ingestion, transformation, storage, APIs, and GIS client integrations.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and triage defects; coordinate with developers and government stakeholders to track issues through resolution.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with government customers.
• Validate geospatial data quality including geometry validity, CRS, projections, attributes, and spatial query accuracy.
• Test REST APIs and data services for correctness, error handling, and security controls.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, user guides, release notes, and test reports.
• Prepare end-user training and support documentation for accreditation and audits.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
