Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Quality Analyst in our Geospatial Technology Services group to perform QA/QC of elevation data, imagery, and GIS datasets for federal, state, and private clients across the US.

You will review production, create derivative data layers, support process improvements, and contribute to technical writing and metadata. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Geography/GIS, 5+ years in GIS/Remote Sensing, and proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, TerraScan, Global Mapper, and LP360.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field.
• Proficiency with Esri software and geospatial data products.
• Experience QA/QC of geospatial products and metadata.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC of elevation data, imagery, other GIS data, and related data products
• Provide feedback on all stages of production
• Create and analyze derivative data layers
• Support and lead process improvements
• Prepare and review reports and metadata
• Train junior staff in QA/QC procedures and workflows
• Lead quality review meetings and prioritize tasks
