Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Quality Analyst to support the Geospatial Technology Services department. The role focuses on QA/QC of GIS data, imagery, and related products for diverse clients across the US, leveraging ArcGIS Pro and TerraScan expertise.

The candidate will lead quality reviews, train junior staff, and collaborate with project teams to translate client expectations into actionable tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field.
• 5+ years in GIS/Remote Sensing field.
• In-depth knowledge of Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience with digital elevation data, imagery, and other geospatial products.
• QA/QC of geospatial products; TerraScan knowledge.
• Proficiency with Global Mapper or LP360.
• Experience with USGS 3DEP/3DHP and ASPRS standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC of elevation data, imagery, and GIS data.
• Provide feedback on all stages of production.
• Create and analyze derivative data layers.
• Lead quality review meetings and prioritize tasks.
• Prepare and review reports and metadata.
• Train junior staff in QA/QC procedures and workflows.
• Represent quality team during client meetings.
• Assist project managers with scope, budget, and resource estimations.
