Job summary

Shipt is seeking a Data Scientist specializing in geospatial intelligence to power next‑mile logistics. You will build models and data systems that leverage location, routing, and spatial signals to improve delivery success and reduce costs.

You will work with large GPS traces, mapping data, and geospatial datasets, collaborating with product managers, logistic operators, and engineers to turn insights into scalable, real‑world solutions.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field and experience deploying ML models in production.
• Experience with geospatial data, GPS traces, and spatial indexing systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, experimentation and causal inference.

Responsibilities
