Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency seeks a Logistics Management Specialist to support geospatial-intelligence products and enhance Print on Demand operations. You will act as the central contact for mapping support, requisition processing, and cross-organizational information exchange.

The role emphasizes specialized experience in supply management, cost reduction, and using MEBS, MILSTRIP, FEDMALL, and legacy systems to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent.
• Experience applying knowledge of mapping products and services from internal/external federal government agencies.
• Experience applying knowledge of supply management and logistical support functions.
• Experience analyzing customer processes to align with DLA Weapons Support and reduce costs.
• Experience using MEBS, MILSTRIP, FEDMALL, GINV and legacy systems to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise to customers and staff elements concerning geospatial-intelligence products.
• Serves as the central point of contact and program manager for Print on Demand.
• Determines, initiates, and coordinates actions to assure adequate mapping support.
• Coordinates requisition processing and information exchange with centers and customer activities.
• Resolves problems with stock availability and prepares analyses with recommendations for solutions at a high level.
