Job summary

The State of Michigan is seeking an IT Manager to lead the Center for Shared Solutions – Geospatial, Web, and Data Services Division. This role oversees the application development team for geospatial apps and maintains existing software, including address cleansing and geocoding services, while guiding resource planning and staff development.

The position supports a hybrid work model with two days on-site in Lansing, MI, and three days remote per week, offering strong benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data processing, or related IT field.
• Three years of professional IT experience equivalent to IT Infrastructure/Programmer Analyst or IT Project Coordinator, P11.
• Experience supervising or managing IT teams/subordinates may substitute for education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the application development team responsible for geospatial application development and for maintenance and support of existing software applications.
• Manage the address cleansing and geocoding service team.
• Oversee resource assignments and planning; provide guidance, assistance, and training to team members.
